PHARMACIST
Role Summary
Ensure quality, efficient and integral services in the pharmacy.
Duties and responsibilities
• Provide leadership in the pharmacy for in & outpatient departments
• Assist in preparation of drug regiments.
• Ensure adequate stock levels and look out for expiries.
• Strict maintenance and documentation of the DDA.
• Ensure procurement of quality & cost-effective drugs.
• Comprehensive knowledge of pharmacy and drugs.
• Work in close collaboration with clinical functions to ensure delivery of high-quality health services.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for best practices in the pharmacy department
• Ensures the pharmacy department follows all state and local laws and bodies.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Qualifications
• Bachelor of Pharmacy Degree from an institution recognized by the
Pharmacy and Poisons Board.
• BLS qualification from an AHA accredited Training Centre.
• Certificate of registration awarded by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB).
• Valid practicing license from the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB).
• Certificate in computer applications
• Certificate of Good Conduct
