2. Senior Disaster Management Officer ( No of Openings: 4 )

Job Description

  1. The work involves responsibility for assisting the Director of Emergency Response and Communications in planning, directing, and evaluating the County’s response to emergency management emergencies.
  2. In the absence of the Director, the incumbent coordinates enforcement of the County’s emergency operation plan relative to disaster prevention, response and recovery.
  3. The incumbent directs various operations during natural or manmade disasters.
  4. The work is performed under the general direction of the Director of Emergency Response and Communications with wide leeway for the use of independent judgment.

Job Description

  1. Ensure that crisis prevention and recovery (CPR) goals and objectives, specifically Disaster Risk Management and Reduction are incorporated in the

Liaise and coordinate with concerned government agencies and stakeholders for the implementation of programme targets and projects supported by various donors, particularly to facilitate achievement of key deliverables of the project on strengthening national and community capacities for effective early warning dissemination and response and other future project.

8. Deputy Board Secretary ( No of Openings: 1 )

Job Description

  1. Organize and Coordinate Board meetings and Board Committee meetings;
  2. Maintain and distribute accurate minutes of the Board meetings/Committee meetings to the members;
  3. Proactively guide the Board on all legal matters affecting its functions;

Job Description 

  1. Examining all books of accounts of cooperative societies in accordance with statutory and accounting standards;

  4. Undertake preventive maintenance of the vehicle.
