Requirement for Appointment

For appointment to this grade one must have: –

  1. Must have a Bachelor degree and a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized/ accredited University in the relevant field
  2. At least three years post qualification work experience.
  3. Must demonstrate potential for university teaching and research by registering for a Doctorate degree and/or producing publications.
  4. Must be recognized and registered with relevant regulatory bodies where applicable.
  5. Must show evidence of membership/affiliation of a relevant professional body where applicable.

The ideal candidate will teach a variety of content to entry-level Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) students collaborate with colleagues and will be responsible for advising students, providing service to the program and University, and performing scholarly activities.
