One VACANT POSITION -HEAD OF LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT – at TRACOM Services Limited apply before 14th May 2021

Tracom Services Ltd, a leading technology company which specializes in offering secure payment solutions is seeking to recruit a Head of Learning & Development to work in its Nairobi office. Your duties and responsibilities will comprise of:

  1. Identify and assess current and future training needs through job analysis, career development plans, annual performance appraisals in consultation with line managers
  2. Create a curriculum to facilitate Learning & Development programs based on the organizational goals
  3. Develop and manage the training budget
  4. Draw an overall and individualized training and development plan that addresses training needs and expected results
  5. Design and implement a variety of training methods appropriate to meet different training needs
  6. Organize training logistics including: venue, equipment, meals and transport as needed
  7. Develop and implement an effective induction program for new hires
  8. Monitor and evaluate training program’s effectiveness, success and ROI periodically and provide related reports to the management
  9. Work with the Procurement function to source trainers for the different training programs
  10. Maintain training schedules and ensure they are executed effectively
  11. Resolve any specific problems that may be encountered during training and adjust training programs as necessary
  12. Evaluate effectiveness of a training program using appropriate tools and methods
  13. Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments and best practices
  14. Work with the marketing team for production of program marketing materials
  15. Communicate all the training programs on a timely basis
  16. Ensure compliance with company policies, departmental procedures and ISO 9001:2015
  17. Any other duties that may be assigned by the supervisor and the management from time to time


  1. Bachelor’s degree in Education, HR or related course
  2. 5 years working experience in a similar position
  3. People management skills
  4. Attention to details
  5. Organizational skills
  6. Communication skills
